E-book Design
The publishing world has changed significantly in the past few years, with the rise of e-books but converting print books to e-books can be difficult, time-consuming, and often overwhelming.
A poorly formatted e-book cover will turn off potential readers, even if your book is fantastic. However, a simple professionally designed e-book will allow your readers to enjoy your story on a wide range of electronic devises.
The Process
- Please send the following:
- Your manuscript as a Word “.doc” or Word “.docx” if you have Word 2007.
- Your cover file. Please make sure that your cover image is a JPG file between 5KB and 2MB. The sides must be between 750 pixels and 2000 pixels in length.
- The title, author name, publisher name, description, price, ISBN, Main subject. This information will be embedded into the meta data of you Kindle book.
- An invoice for the project fee will be sent to you.
- Once I receive payment you will be sent a Kindle PRC file that is ready to upload the the Kindle Direct Publishing site. Your Nook Book will be sent to you as a formatted Word doc which you will then need to upload to Pub It so they can convert it to e-pub format.
